I use several different combinations of hooks for this pattern. These bears, about 8" tall, are made with WW acrylic yarn, and an I hook. I use an H hook for the ears.

When I use darker yarn and want to prevent the stuffing from showing through, I use a G hook for the bear, and an F for the ears.

These bears make perfect baby shower gifts. I am now planning on using these as a set. I'm going to make a bear with its little blanket and put that on the outside of the box that holds a matching baby afghan.
