I made this bag from my pattern, but added several rounds to the bottom to make it wider. For this bag, I used Lion Brand Kitchen Cotton in blue, and carried along a strand of purple Lustersheen on some of the rows to reinforce the cotton. It looks kind of goofy because I stuffed it with wadded up newspaper for the photo. The stitches aren't really that open where the beads are.
